Description
The thermostatic mixer regulates the flow temperature of the system to a preset value.
It is supplied with hot water from the heat generator and cold water from the system return.
In radiant panel systems, the temperature control made by this mixer implements the so-called "fixed point" regulation, which consists in regulating the flow temperature to a predetermined and constant value with the possibility of manually adjusting the set temperature according to the changed climatic conditions. Compared to regulation via an electronic control unit with an external and flow probe, it is a more intuitive and simple system with fewer possibilities of failure.
